Welcome to the Claremont Sunrise Rotary (CSR) Claremont Turkey Trot 5K and 1K fun run. The 5K race and 1K fun run starts and finishes in the beautiful, scenic downtown Claremont Village.
The CSR team wants to make sure that ever runner has a memorable experience. In order to keep the operations running smoothly, there are a few rules and policies you should know before you show up at the race.
The race takes place in beautiful downtown Claremont in Southern California. Generally, the weather is fine but please keep be aware that the race will take place rain or shine. In the case of thunder, lightning, fog, or any other temporary unsafe condition, expect a delay of start. There will be no delay for rain alone. Weather is to be respected, and cannot be controlled, nor ignored. Decisions on cancellations or delays are made with the best available information in concert with our local safety and emergency services support and authorities. If the event must be cancelled due to weather, there will be no refunds.
Due to the nature of the industry, we have a strict no refunds policy. All registrants must acknowledge and initial this policy within the registration path.
Due to liability issues and the adverse impact on scoring, results and awards, CSR has a no transfer policy. It is imperative that the registration data associated with your race number does in fact belong to you, the participant.
Weapons, aerosol sprays (pepper or mace), skates, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, bags and backpacks.
Cell phones, heart rate monitors, water bottles, GPS watches, pace monitors, medical kits and gel packs.
Please understand that CSR reserves the right to implement security policies that it deems necessary to ensure the safety and security of all runners and spectators at the race. In the event of any security policy change, there will be no refunds.
For the 5K race, only registered runners with an official CSR Claremont Turkey Trot race bib are allowed access to the Start Line. No exceptions.
For the 1K race, if you have a minor child running you may accompany him or her on the race course (Limited to one adult).
